We purchased Esther from Whispering Meadows Farm because of her soft, silky fiber and wonderful conformation.  She was a joy in the show ring, taking 1st and Reserve Grand Champion Light/Medium Wool Female at the 2001 Virginia State Fair, and then placing fourth at Eastern Regionals.  She has passed this winning conformation to her daughter, Avalon.  Esther is also one of our best baby guards.  She is always on the look out and thinks every baby should be hers!  She was a great milk producer and even though her fiber is now not of spinning quality, she  does carry the gene to produce it.  Gentle and easy to handle, she really needs a home where someone will  let her become a mother again!
