Sponsor A Llama

Graustark's "On the Farm" Sponsor A Llama Program is designed to give llama enthusiasts that are not able to own llamas the opportunity to work with and learn about llamas here at the farm and share in the specific details concerning
one individual llama.

For $350 a year, you are able to "sponsor" a Graustark llama. This is the approximate cost of caring for a llama for this time frame, plus the cost of a handmade item from the llama's fiber.

If you live at a distance, we will provide you with photos of Your Sponsored Llama on a regular basis as he/she progresses through the year and some fiber from that animal in addition to your hand made item.

If you are nearby, you are invited to come to the farm and work with your sponsored animal or another of the farm llamas. We will work with you to teach you proper handling & training techniques and herd health management. You will also be given the opportunity to show a llama if desired.

The cost of the sponsorship is used to provide feed, and maintenance veterinary care for Your sponsored Llama, as well as the cost of photos, paperwork, and fiber processing.
